About Garden International School
Garden International School (GIS) is one of Malaysia's oldest private international schools, established in 1951 initially in Kuala Lumpur's city centre before relocating over subsequent decades. The main campus is now located in Mont Kiara, with an Early Years Centre at Jalan 41/70A in Desa Sri Hartamas. The school is co-educational and accepts students from Nursery through Year 13 (ages 3–18), with enrolment of approximately 2,000 students across both sites.
GIS follows the English National Curriculum, with students in secondary years sitting IGCSE and progressing to A Levels. Annual tuition fees for Years 3–4 are RM 97,830 for the 2026–27 academic year, billed termly at RM 32,610 per term across three terms. Fees cover technology resources, books and some stationery for Nursery through Year 9; uniform, transport, meals, school trips and examination fees are charged separately. The school is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA).
